Bear-ing It All - Our Tahoe Summer Special Issue

As Liz and Beth were planning Slatternly's annual summer fashion shoot (this year in an exotic Lake Tahoe resort locale!), news broke of the capture of Tahoe's top ursine home invader. Nicknamed "Hank The Tank", this bear weighed in at a whopping 500 trash-fueled, free-loading pounds. To quote The Guardian "the wildlife equivalent of an APB was issued by the state’s wildlife authorities." Clearly, Hank was our kind of girl, a natural born slattern who became a fashion inspiration. In our imagined scenario of hunter/bear encounter, peace and love won the day. Wardrobe thanks to the Goodwill of Tahoe.
